A New Chapter in Ukraine

Thank you for your prayers and support that have helped bring the love of Christ to vulnerable children and families in Ukraine. We are grateful to welcome Love Cradle International as a part of Loving Shepherd Ministries (LSM) and to continue the work God has entrusted to us as we serve the vulnerable and share the hope of Jesus Christ.

Following the passing of Love Cradle founder Steve Yagilnicky in January 2025, the Love Cradle Board spent time prayerfully considering the future of the ministry. After careful consideration, Love Cradle’s Ukraine program is now part of LSM, with Irina Yagilnicky serving as LSM's Ukraine Program Director.

This new chapter brings together two ministries with a shared commitment to serving vulnerable children and families, strengthening communities, and sharing the Gospel. While the name and structure have changed, the heart of the work remains the same.

We would greatly appreciate your support as we continue the vision of Love Cradle. We look forward to what God will accomplish as we serve together.

Continuing the Work in Ukraine

Strengthening Families. Supporting Children. Sharing Christ.

Loving Shepherd Ministries will continue the work to provide urgent relief, family support, children’s programs, and discipleship in Ukraine. Irina will continue the relationships and programs established through Love Cradle while expanding LSM’s mission to serve even more vulnerable children and families.

SERVING FAMILIES IN UKRAINE

MORE THAN JUST BOXES OF SUPPLIES

LSM plans to send additional sea containers to Ukraine in 2027, providing urgently needed supplies to children, families, churches, and ministry partners serving people affected by the ongoing war. These shipments are more than just boxes of supplies. They are tangible expressions of God’s love and reminders to families facing unimaginable circumstances that they have not been forgotten.

We are grateful for your prayers and support as LSM carries this vision forward. As we begin this new chapter, please pray for the Ukraine Program and the people we will serve.

PLEASE PRAY WITH US

  • For peace and protection for children and families affected by the ongoing war.

  • For Irina Yagilnicky and the Ukraine Program team as they lead this new chapter.

  • For our ministry partners in Ukraine as they serve families in difficult circumstances.

  • For wisdom and opportunities to strengthen families and share the hope of Christ.

One Mission. Four Countries.

Serving the Vulnerable through Christ-Centered Programs

For nearly 25 years, Loving Shepherd Ministries has served vulnerable children and families through Christ-centered programs in Haiti, Ethiopia, and the United States. With the addition of the Ukraine Program, we are now privileged to serve in four countries, united by one mission: helping vulnerable children become healthy, independent Christ-followers who impact their families and communities for God.

Haiti

More than 260 vulnerable children are cared for in Homes of Hope, 550+ students attend our Christian schools, and our LSM Tech campus provides vocational training to prepare students for a sustainable future.

USA

We provide free adoption guidance, Christian counseling, and a respite home to help foster and adoptive families care for children who have experienced difficult circumstances.

Ethiopia

Our Fatherless Family Redemption program empowers single mothers and their children through discipleship, business training, education and support to thrive with dignity.

Ukraine

The Ukraine Program continues the relationships and work started by Love Cradle, providing urgent relief, family support, children's programs, and sharing the hope of Christ.

A Message from Irina

"For more than 25 years, you have helped make it possible for Love Cradle to serve vulnerable children and families throughout Ukraine. Your prayers and generosity have brought food to the hungry, hope to the discouraged, support to children and families in crisis, and the love of Christ to countless lives.

I believe this transition offers future growth while remaining faithful to the calling that God placed on our hearts many years ago. As we begin this new chapter with Loving Shepherd Ministries, I am deeply grateful that we can continue this work together."

- Irina Yagilinicky, Ukraine Program Director
